After graduating from NJCU in 2015 with a B.A in English, I was searching for jobs and wanted a writing project to keep my skills sharp. It was then I decided to start my own blog, during which, I devoured any and all information about Wordpress plugins, design, and social media marketing for several months.
Eventually, I came across Skillcrush.com and enrolled in their Web Design Blueprint. For the next few months I learned about Photoshop, Illustrator, typography, personal branding and HTML & CSS. I was so fascinated by the tech field that I also completed their Wordpress Bootcamp and am continuing to up-level my skills.
My goal is to obtain a position as a Junior UI/UX Designer within a company and continue building my knowledge of Web Design and programming languages. In my spare time, I crochet eclectic winter wear and continue to develop fluency in the Spanish language.
